Job Description

Are you seeking an opportunity to put your financial and analytical skills into practice in a global manufacturing company? 

We are currently looking for an Intern to support our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in our European headquarters in Oegstgeest! As part of this international team, you will support the reporting and controlling of the Selling, General & Administrative (SG&A) expenses for the EMENA region.  

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Support several key financial close processes, such as the reporting and analysis of Research & Development Trial costs 

  • Support the monthly and quarterly reporting of various key SG&A cost centres, to ensure visibility on financial performance and provide budget owners with timely and accurate insights

  • Gather forecast inputs from budget owners and local controllers, help to analyse the inputs and ask questions

  • Establish and build upon cohesive working relationships with stakeholders from Finance, Business Intelligence, R&D, Sales & Marketing, IT and Facility teams and help to improve processes where possible

The preferred start date is February 3rd, 2025. The ideal candidate is available for 3-4 days a week for a duration of 6 months. The internship can be done remotely up to 2 days per week.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following characteristics: 

  • Currently following a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business with a focus on Finance, or any related studies

  • Curious and proactive mindset

  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking

  • Good Excel/Google Sheets skills (Pivots, Vlookups, Conditional Operations)

  • Good communication skills in English
