We are looking for an intern to join our Treasury team. As the treasury intern, you will gain a deeper insight into the operations of a corporate treasury and contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Treasury department. Key Internship Responsibilities will be to support these roles below:
- Assisting with bank account management and reconciliation.
- Supporting cash flow forecasting and analysis.
- Collaborating with the Treasury team to optimize liquidity management strategies.
- Treasury project(s)
- Thesis Project (if preferred)
Additionally, you will be able to contribute to various regional and global Treasury projects, that are aimed to drive process efficiency, in areas such as financial risk management, cash management, intercompany loans and systems.
The preferred start date is November 15th, 2024. The ideal candidate is available 4-5 days a week for 6 months. The location of the position is our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest. The internship can be done remotely for up to 2 days per week.
Qualifications
What kind of candidate are we looking for?
- Someone currently following a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or Business, with a focus on Finance or Financial Economics
- Someone with good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, advanced knowledge is a plus (pivots, Vlookup, Index)
- Someone with good communication skills in English and able to work in a changing and dynamic environment
- Good analytical skill and detail-oriented
