Job Description

To strengthen our team in the DACH region, we are currently looking for a Quality, Environment, Health and Safety (QEHS) Manager for our sites in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. 

  • In your role as QEHS Manager, you will take over the further development of our medium- and long-term quality and safety strategy in the DACH region, inspire us all with "Safety First!" and work to sustainably shape and develop our areas of quality management, occupational safety, environmental protection, energy/disposal management as well as plant/building safety and process safety.

  • In your responsibility for quality system management, you will lead the certification and audit process internally and externally, including customer and supplier audits, keep IMDS data sheets up to date, analyze and improve our process indicators/key figures, and thus also support our management in conducting management reviews.

  • You will develop appropriate solutions and measures for the safe operation of our production, R&D and office facilities, processes, and procedures.

  • As part of the continuous development of our quality and safety awareness, you will prepare safety-relevant training measures for all areas and levels, carry them out, and be responsible for their execution for all our departments on all sites in the region.

Qualifications

What do we expect from you? - Your qualifications:

  • Degree preferably in engineering (electrical engineering) / process engineering / safety engineering combined with a high level of quality and safety awareness. Further qualifications like Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (FaSi) are a strong plus.

  • Training as an auditor (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 / OHSAS18001) as well as practical knowledge of the Automotive Core Tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC, 8-D).

  • Professional experience (5+ years) as a quality and safety specialist with reference to occupational and process safety in an (electrical engineering or automotive) production environment.

  • Practical knowledge of current occupational safety and European health and safety regulations/requirements including hazardous materials, explosion protection, fire protection, emission control, chemical and environmental law.

  • Project management based on Lean / Six Sigma methods (ideally Green Belt or Black Belt certified).

  • Business fluent language skills in both German and English (verbal and writing).

  • Willingness to frequent business travel within the DACH region.
