We are looking for a highly-motivated (Jr) Sustainability Specialist to join our liner recycling program team (AD.Circular) and help boost the circularity of our dispensing liner. You will be responsible for the daily activities of the program and working closely with the Sales, Finance, Marketing and IT team including business development and improving the overall processes and tools used internally or by customers. You will also partner with cross-functional teams on strategic projects to support our sustainability and circularity roadmap.

Our AD.Circular team is part of Avery Dennison EMENA Materials Sustainability Team whose role is to lead and support the organization with the execution of our 2030 Sustainability Goals.  

The ideal candidate will be based in Oegstgeest, the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Streamline and take charge of administrative processes, overseeing tasks such as invoicing accuracy, quality claim tracking, weight management etc
• Empower Sales and Marketing teams by offering guidance on commonly asked customer inquiries & proposition improvement to ensure a competitive offer 
• Conduct competitive gap analysis to identify improvement areas; recommend best practices to enhance the overall customer experience & test improvements in AD.Circular platform
• Support management of customer registrations and subscriptions
• Program training for internal and external stakeholders
• Cultivate and oversee relationships with external stakeholders, particularly recyclers, to foster effective collaboration and ensure mutually beneficial partnerships
• Cross-functional team coordination 
• Project support and/or lead  related to program performance evaluation
• Create customer-focused communication tools and and SOPs, such as CO2 savings certificates, to effectively convey environmental impact and promote sustainability achievements
• Oversee the monitoring and updating of licenses registrations, ensuring accurate and timely compliance with the specified guidelines

• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree 
• 0-3 years business experience
• Self-starter, able to drive projects to conclusion and work effectively with a variety of people at various levels within the company
• Fluency in English, written and verbal communication (any other European languages are an advantage) 
• Strong teamwork and relationship building skills
• Strong multi-tasking skills 
• Demonstrate rigor, tenacity, able to deep dive / analytical skills (with still ability to summarize)
• Project management skills are an advantage
