Job Description

As a Product Compliance Intern, you will be a spider in the web of the organization. You will gain a deeper insight into the regulatory requirements of our customers, while also working on various internal departments on regulatory topics. In addition, you will act as a valuable source of support to the Product Stewardship department, whose main task is to respond to all regulatory compliance-related questions and requests throughout product development & distribution activities for all our products within the Label and Graphic Materials portfolio (for both existing and new applications). This internship will furthermore have a project related to the internal and external promotion of the regulatory compliance department while also setting up a training program for internal stakeholders.

Your main tasks will be the following:

  • Support daily customer compliance questions
  • Assist with the creation of public compliance reports (general compliance statements, brochures and informative documents).
  • Develop a training program and knowledge center for internal stakeholders.
  • Redesign the product compliance website to improve internal branding
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on product compliance topics to understand the needs and provide support

Furthermore, you will be supporting other ad hoc tasks on projects currently run by the product stewardship department.

The preferred start date is Mar 1st, 2024. The ideal candidate is available 4-5 days a week for 6 months. The location of the position is our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest. The internship can be done remotely for up to 2 days per week.

Qualifications

What kind of candidate are we looking for?

  • Someone currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication or Marketing in a Dutch university, with a strong interest in Chemistry, Pharmacy or any related scientific studies .
  • Someone with excellent communication skills in English and able to work in a changing and dynamic environment.
  • Someone who is a quick learner and a creative problem solver
  • Someone who can work in diverse teams and is not afraid to ask questions
