WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

In this diverse role of high impact, we are hiring an energized, tenacious, and highly driven Product Line Manager, Industrial Products to join our Avery Dennison Smartrac team (rfid.averydennison.com) with a direct reporting line to our Director - Global Product Line Management - Avery Dennison Smartrac. 

As a Product Line Manager, you will be managing and optimizing our portfolio to meet the needs of the industrial market and strategic customers. You are a key in connecting various stakeholders and proactively leading the full life cycle, from concept through obsolescence for fast-growing product lines.
 

• Manage industrial inlay products 
• Execute and define product line strategy with relevant stakeholders
• Own the industrial inlay portfolio and develop plans to replace, rejuvenate, and obsolete RFID products.
• Own and manage a roadmap for industrial RFID inlay products
• Work closely with commercial teams and customers to define market requirements for products.
• Work closely with key technology partners
• Work with cross-functional teams (technical, engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, IT, innovation, and marketing communication) involved in the product development process. 
• Adding new product developments through the defined product development process and interacting with the product development teams and operations in order to deliver the end-to-end solution to the markets

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING TO THE TEAM: 

Avery Dennison has a long history of being a market leader.  Your history is important to us. It should include the following: 

• Five to ten years of work experience demonstrating the skill set requirements for the role
• Bachelor’s degree with a supporting technical background or engineering with relevant business experience
• Excellent organizational and people skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner
• Excellent oral, and written communication skills
• Assertive, persistent, and flexible to work in a matrixed, fast-paced organization
• Self-discipline and urgency (sense of time pressure and motivation to complete activities)
• Risk-taking (willing to try new things and explore new domains)
• Experience in the RFID industry and technical solutions
• Travel requirements up to 15% of the time both domestic and international
