We are looking for two interns to join our Treasury team. The roles are different, however, feel free to apply for both or only your preferred one. Here is the second role (Bank & Cash Management).

As the treasury intern, you will gain a deeper insight into corporate treasury operations, and you will contribute to the department's day-to-day operations. Most of your time will be focused on foreign exchange management in which, among many other different responsibilities, we highlight: 

  • Foreign Exchange Analytics: Perform periodic analysis on FX exposures, FX gains/losses, etc., while interacting with the internal stakeholders
  • Foreign Exchange Trading: Support the Treasury FX Manager in the execution of FX transactions

Additionally, you will be able to contribute to various regional and global Treasury projects, that are aimed to drive process efficiency, in areas such as financial risk management, cash management, intercompany loans and systems. 

The preferred start date is December 1st, 2023. The ideal candidate is available 4-5 days a week for at least 5 months. The location of the position is our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest. The internship can be done remotely for up to 2 days per week.

Qualifications

What kind of candidate are we looking for?

  • Someone currently following a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics or Business, with a focus on Finance or Financial Economics
  • Someone with good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, advanced knowledge is a plus (pivots, Vlookup, Index)
  • Someone with good communication skills in English and able to work in a changing and dynamic environment
