Job Description

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

You will provide accurate and efficient supply chain support to assist the Commercial function to achieve its targets and metrics. This will involve the accurate planning, ordering and management of ordered imported product lines across the APAC region. You are responsible for ensuring that all sub-regions align processes, reporting and data accurately and in a timely manner.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: 

  • Facilitate and manage S&OP, Inventory Management and Product Transition Processes

  • Facilitate and monitor Service and Inventory data for IL business reporting.

  • Assisting sub regional country Supply Chain (SC) leads to escalate orders in a timely manner through checking with Global Supply Chain (GSC) and hubs (Ops) on raw materials, capacity and order fulfillment opportunities.

  • Liaise with sub regional country SC and CS leads to streamline end to end information flow needed to ensure a smooth and efficient new product set up process.

  • Collate, manage and distribute timely information as to the available finished goods within APAC regional DC’s and 3PL’s

  • Assist in the cross training and onboarding of sub regional country SC lead and Customer Service teams

  • Work closely with the Regional GS and IL Supply Chain Manager on continuous improvement events and projects to improve service and minimize inventory.

  • Work closely with the Regional GS and IL Supply Chain Manager to complete monthly reporting requirements.

  • Contribute to a strong team environment within the Supply Chain function, and participate in cross functional activities. Liaise & cooperate with personnel from the Sales and Marketing Department, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Operations. 

Key Relationships: 

Maintain effective working relationships with both local, sub regional and global:  Customer Service Teams, Marketing, Product Management, Commercial and Sales, Finance, Hubs (operations) and the Supply chain functions.

Qualifications

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU: 

  • At least four (4) years experience in a Supply Chain role, preferably in a manufacturing environment

  • A strong Supply Chain process understanding, with a knowledge of the links between customer orders, importing and manufacturing, and customer delivery

  • A relatively sophisticated level of computer skills, with strong preference being given to MFGPRO, Google applications and OMP experience

  • Highly motivated, proactive, results oriented, self driven and a sense of “can do”

  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills both internally and externally, and at all levels

  • Has the drive to challenge the status quo and recommend changes to improve processes

  • Ability to work unsupervised, in a detailed, accurate and customer focused manner.
