The Manager of Supply Chain Digitization will lead the North American business unit to take our current planning and execution processes into the future. This person will lead technical improvement and execution from the Supply Chain side, partnered with the IT team. They will drive industry leading best practices through development, implementation, and then network standardization. There will be a key focus on automation of manual systems and a clear focus on digitalization of our processes. The expectation is that this person will close the gap between the business and IT, acting as primary contact person for new requirements or project requests.
What you’ll be doing:
Analyze current business processes, leading cross-functional collaborations sessions to find methods to automate and improve.
Drive business value by analyzing, evaluating, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Act as a business lead for IT projects, ensuring projects stay on time and on budget.
Lead technical execution from the Supply Chain side (Software design, integration and configuration), collaborating with the IT team.
Leverage expert knowledge in production scheduling, forecasting, and supply/demand planning to develop and implement process automation.
Lead on ground training & deployment for various solutions within Supply Chain so they are appropriately trained to own and use digital systems.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
5+ years Service, Materials and Logistics or related experience, with 3+ years supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Project leadership experience required.
Working knowledge of modern manufacturing, material flow and improvement strategies and the ability to integrate those into the operation.
Demonstrated understanding of financial systems and the key drivers within the manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational skills in strategy, communication at all levels and execution.
Strong leadership skills. Ability to lead, contribute, and influence others in a team-based organization
Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
Understanding of Oracle r12, Google applications, and Microsoft Office preferred
