Job Description

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Achieve given revenue targets for each factory on a monthly basis.
  • Closely monitor the progress of key projects assigned and make sure meeting milestones timely.
  • Visit all factories nominated by the Manager on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate matters related to Business Developments with all concerned parties in the organization to win new business.
  • Provide forecasts on a monthly basis for given factory cluster by brand by item for material planning and capacity planning.
  • Assessing current market/customer trends in order to facilitate sales planning & strategy development.
  • Ensure flow of information on new products, new businesses, processes and procedure to Order input, QA & Customer Services Departments.
  • Value selling through better negotiation and meeting factory expectations at a profit. (APO, Prices, Value added service and special projects)

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initiate and drive special projects with key customers to support achieving organizational goals.
  • Adhere to/support the ISO 9001/2000 procedures.
  • Support and maintain the health and Safety standards in the company.
  • Adhere to/Support & follow the Environmental Management system.
  • Continuously improve and develop your knowledge and skills in the job through training and development initiatives provided to you by the company.   
  • Give feedback regarding your training to the in the  follow up on actions taken after training   
  • Responsible that company policies , procedures and regulations are followed at all times and to  protect confidentiality of company and work related information at all times

Qualifications

  • CIM/Degree full qualification preferred.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position in apparel is required.
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Sinhala,
  • Excellent PR & interpersonal skills,
  • Sound Knowledge on the Apparel industry.
  • Ability to coordinate the work of those in the marketing team to deliver results.
  • Self-starter
