Job Description

Avery Dennison’s North American Talent Acquisition Team is a strategic business partner focusing on sourcing and attracting diverse talent to grow our organization.  We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with hiring managers, including senior leaders, and Human Resources teammates to ensure understanding, alignment and set expectations on the recruitment process in order to hire top talent. As the TAM, you will also collect and prepare data analytics to help stakeholders understand the employment market and guide our recruitment strategies. 

Recruitment

  • Develop and drive Talent Acquisition strategies in collaboration with the Director of Talent Acquisition, Human Resource Business Partners, and Hiring Managers to ensure the timely and cost-effective identification and selection of qualified, high-quality talent required to achieve business goals

  • Proactively generate a continual pipeline of highly qualified internal and external candidates through active networking (both in-person and online) and passive candidate review by leveraging metrics and technology as well as increasing Avery Dennison’s brand recognition in NA 

  • Ensure recruitment methodologies and hiring practices are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures to ensure appropriate and fair selection, assessment, pre-screening, and post-employment methodology.

  • Working closely with our D&I recruitment team, drive sourcing capability & capacity across geographically dispersed sites/teams to proactively build diverse candidate pools for all levels of the organization

Advise and Lead

  • Build and manage relationships with hiring managers and other internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment and selection process

  • Provide hiring teams expert guidance and consultation on recruitment process, policy, technology, industry trends and best practices

  • Influence hiring managers with insightful market data that shapes recruitment approach and decision making

  • Provide appropriate counsel throughout the talent acquisition process, advising on industry best practices, particularly as they relate to the candidate experience

Data & Technology

  • Be a master user of technology including SmartRecruiters (ATS) and Google to maximize productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Continuously look to improve results using key metrics to: Reduce Cost Per Hire, Reduce Time to Fill, and Increase Candidate Experience.  Share ideas and learning's with the team.

  • Keep abreast of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to effectively compete for outstanding talent and develop and maintain world-class talent acquisition practices

  • Contribute to other HR/TA projects as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

  • At least 5 -7 years experience of in house, full- cycle recruitment. Prior experience recruiting in a manufacturing company strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of various CRM, ATS, and other recruitment technology platforms

  • Proven record as an effective leader delivering end-to-end recruitment services.
