Job Description

Avery Dennison Label and Graphic Materials, is seeking a savvy digital marketer to join the Marketing Communications team as a Digital Marketing Web Specialist to lead the day-to-day operations of the Label and Graphic Materials public websites and digital marketing programs. With the goal of increasing organic traffic, visitor engagement, and lead generation by creating effective digital experiences spanning all channels. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage digital project pipeline, backlog and web tech stack which includes AEM, Ahref’s, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Act-On.
  • Lead day-to-day website operations including web content management, technical site maintenance, localization, content optimization research/implementation to improve discoverability (SEO), user experience, and conversion within LGM’s North American web properties.
  • Monitor overall web performance/tracking using Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager and provide evidence based recommendations to improve user experience, engagement, and acquisition by channel (including preparing on-demand reporting and quarterly web performance report.)
  • Deliver analytics and regular reporting for digital media and advertising campaigns that drive back to our product website along with recommendations on optimizations for content or A/B tests for home page images
  • Responsible for overseeing the digital contractor work as it pertains to email and campaign building, program reporting, managing email sends, and performing regular maintenance of distribution lists and segmentations.
  • Using qualitative and quantitative research to produce wireframes, task flows or other conceptual UX mockups to support the creation and delivery of new features on our marketing websites and e-commerce portal, to enhance the digital experience for customers and web visitors. 
  • In collaboration with designers, uphold brand guidelines for all external digital content.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required

Minimum Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years of working experience as a website/digital marketer in a B2B or B2C organization
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other web analytics platforms required (Google Analytics Academy badges a plus)
  • Experience working in a CMS platform (preferably AEM)
  • Experience with key digital marketing topics: email marketing, SEO, SEM, A/B testing, conversion optimization and personalization.
  • Ability to troubleshoot front-end functionality issues
  • Strong UX sensibility and empathy for the user
  • Strong familiarity with responsive design principles and usability best practices.
  • Outstanding critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and take the initiative without prompting
  • Able to communicate transparently and confidently to all levels of the business and to various stakeholder groups, both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to communicate technical information so that it is easily understood by non-technical partners.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable juggling multiple, concurrent projects with tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships and work independently
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills in order to effectively gather requirements as it relates to a given project.

Beneficial Experience:

  • Basic knowledge and/or experience with HTML, CSS, and web analytics a plus.
  • Experience with Act-On marketing automation software is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe AEM a plus. 
  • Experience with UX design tools such as Adobe XD (or similar tools).
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
