Responsibility

• Support a group of ERP applications running on Progress/AIX for users in multiple locations

• Responsible for application support/maintenance including handling day-to-day support request, break fix, issue diagnosis and resolution, monitoring, user enquiry, security vulnerabilities remediation, disaster recovery testing

• Responsible for application enhancement/development including requirement analysis, effort estimation, programming, testing, deployment and documentation

• Develop, maintain and review application support processes and documents

• Communicate, coordinate and work with different IT teams and users

• Plan and analyze to improve existing applications and service to business

• Follow defined Avery processes e.g. change, incident, problem management etc

Requirement

• Minimum 3 years of development experience on character-based application on Progress / AIX.

• Solid experience in Progress 9.1 database and 4GL, AIX command, scripting and cron jobs, FTP & SFTP & SSH 

• Knowledge of PROGRESS Administration Tools

• Experience on supporting sizable ERP application

• Good knowledge on ITIL processes, communication and documentation

• Strong business acumen, service-oriented, good documentation and communication skills
