Support a group of ERP applications running on Progress/AIX for users in multiple locations
Responsible for application support/maintenance including handling day-to-day support request, break fix, issue diagnosis and resolution, monitoring, user enquiry, security vulnerabilities remediation, disaster recovery testing
Responsible for application enhancement/development including requirement analysis, effort estimation, programming, testing, deployment and documentation
Develop, maintain and review application support processes and documents
Communicate, coordinate and work with different IT teams and users
Plan and analyze to improve existing applications and service to business
Follow defined Avery processes e.g. change, incident, problem management etc
Minimum 3 years of development experience on character-based application on Progress / AIX.
Solid experience in Progress 9.1 database and 4GL, AIX command, scripting and cron jobs, FTP & SFTP & SSH
Knowledge of PROGRESS Administration Tools
Experience on supporting sizable ERP application
Good knowledge on ITIL processes, communication and documentation
Strong business acumen, service-oriented, good documentation and communication skills
