Job Description

This role has responsibilities spanning administration of the organization’s Content Management System (Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)), identifying web-content gaps based on evolving product offerings, and assisting in the creation and execution of campaigns and analyzing and reporting on the program’s performance. This role blends the technical aptitude of webmaster duties associated with a modern CMS and the passion for  email strategy and improved user experience and engagement. The Digital Marketing Web contractor will work for the Label and Graphic Materials division by closely supporting Marketing Communications, Sales, Marketing and Digital Marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct responsibilities include email marketing strategy, email and campaign building, program reporting, managing email sends, and performing regular maintenance of distribution lists and segmentations.

  • Creating and distributing all promotional and transactional email campaigns, both batch campaigns as well as managing automated workflows.

  • Support and execute the digital acquisition and retention strategy, including the optimization of emails, texts landing pages, forms, CTAs and workflows

  • Monitor and optimize emails/campaigns for opens, clicks, conversions, opt-outs.

  • Utilize full marketing automation platform capabilities and application within the Act-On Automated Growth Marketing Platform.

  • Stay current with best practices and industry standards related to email – ensure spam compliance and data privacy regulations are upheld.

  • Setup new site pages/sections and campaign landing pages within the web content management systems.

  • Continually monitor our website in a proactive manner to ensure that information is accurate, content is current, and pages are free of errors and that quality traffic levels increase.

  • Verify web edits and/or email functionality compatibility within all browsers and across devices.

  • Conduct Usability and User Acceptance Testing in CMS on newly developed components and templates.

  • Identify necessary content modifications, additions, deletions and implementing approved digital enhancements within web-based content management systems.

  • Perform image manipulation tasks such as creating thumbnails, image resizing, file format conversion, and simple image edits.

  • Create and maintain multimedia, including photo galleries, slideshows, and videos embedded in Web pages.

  • Uphold brand guidelines for all external communication.

Qualifications

  • Pursuit or acquisition of Bachelor's degree, preferably in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Analytics, Information Technology or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, for image formatting and editing

  • Ability to troubleshoot front-end functionality issues

  • Experience in email marketing and marketing automation

  • Experience in optimizing web content for SEO

  • Able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels of the business and to various stakeholder groups, both in writing and verbally

  • Editing and proofreading precision

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Comfortable juggling multiple, concurrent projects with tight deadlines

  • Self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to build relationships and work independently

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills in order to effectively gather requirements as it relates to a given project.

Other areas of importance, not required:

  • Working knowledge and experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics is a plus.

  • Basic knowledge and/or experience with HTML, CSS, and web analytics a plus.

  • Previous experience with Act-On marketing automation software is a plus.

  • Previous Experience with Adobe AEM a plus.
