Job Description

The Field process engineer role is focused on supporting the implementation of new innovative solutions internally and at customers. The role is mainly focused on intelligent label product processes. Part of the innovation team helps and supports the development of new solutions and mainly the manufacturing process of those.. This role will work cross-functionally within the Product Line Management, Innovation, and Sustainability team, Costing, Operations, and other internal groups. In this role, you will lead and facilitate project implementations within our own organization and new customers base. The ability to adapt and change existing processes to the new now by taking initiative, staying curious, and solving problems creatively.

The role is mainly focussed on RFID new product and process implementations.In your role as Field process engineer, delivering on these responsibilities is critical to success: 

Support the different production and customer base with the implementation of  new innovative process

  • Present information and effectively communicate with divisions and cross-functionally. Orally present findings to team and management.
  • Manage knowledge/technology transfer and new product development. Generate new ideas for products.
  • Understand and develop the SOP’s for the different new products/ processes
  • Provide support and service, online or onsite to the different manufacturing units
  • Provide training to new operators and manager of the new technologies and process
  • Safe and timely execution of experiments. Follow all lab safety procedures.
  • Provide recommendations for capital purchases- equipment.
  • Support various innovation projects

Qualifications

  1. Degree in Engineering, mechanical or electrical  or related preferred. 
  2. Project management
  3. Excellent in English (mandatory), Spanish (nice to have)
  4. Experience in training/ educating people on new technologies/ process
  5. Experience in process change management
  6. RFID Knowledge ( nice to have)
