Job Description

Avery Dennison is seeking a hands-on passionate customer experience focused ecommerce technical expert.  Reporting to the Sr Business Process Manager - Commercial on the Global IT team, this person will play a key role in deploying, maintaining, enhancing and expanding our ecommerce presence for the global RBIS group.  In this role you will work closely with various groups internal and external to build and deploy ecommerce solutions to support the business unit strategy and objectives.  Again, the successful candidate will be passionate about ecommerce and Customer Experience.  This is an exciting opportunity to join the team in the early stages of our journey and make a huge impact by helping craft world class ecommerce deployments and efficient enjoyable customer experiences.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Serve as our internal subject matter expert in ecommerce and customer experience

  • As our ecommerce presence grows, ultimately manage a team of ecommerce professionals (UX, QA, etc.)

  • Responsible for the integrity and maintenance of our CX Commerce platform - Keep us clean & simple

  • Manage and build high performance integrations with backend systems

  • Document technical requirements, environment, and integration solutions

  • Identify & support the implementation of new ecommerce platform features & functions in response to business needs, while managing a timely release schedule for system enhancements

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree required 

  • Minimum of 12 years of ecommerce experience 

  • Strong B2B and B2C commerce business process knowledge

  • Experience in designing and developing storefront, mapping and defining the product catalogs and enabling user experience for the most intuitive and simplified site designed for the end users and distributors

  • Must have knowledge of ecommerce security (roles, profiles, role hierarchy and sharing rules) & a strong understanding of relational data 

  • Excellent overall business acumen & organizational savvy, including strong record of achievement, with solid analytical skills & an entrepreneurial hands-on approach to work. 

  • Nice to haves:

    • Oracle CX Commerce experience 

    • API Integrations and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience

    • Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) experience

    • Previous Apparel industry experience
