Job Description

Responsibilities:
 Set targets and ensure compliance to the same in order to meet plant KPI.
 Set objectives, provide direction and support his team to deliver world class performance in Equipment
uptime, MTBF, MTTR, PM and Calibration compliance, Repair and Maintenance cost, Power and Fuel
cost, Energy saving and Safety.
 Ensure good Maintenance practices are in place; anticipate and manage through adversity, effectively
incorporate improvement programs into the culture of the Plant.
 Practice all environment, health and safety procedures and make safety a top priority.
 Drive continuous improvement to optimize R & M and Energy cost and productivity improvements.
 Understand and implement ISO procedures and ensure continual compliance to the requirements of the
standards in the production department,
 Work along with the Plant Head to Develop & action Objectives, Goals, Strategies and Measures (OGSM)
for assigned area and confirm linkage to global business strategies.
 Work with cross functional team like Coating, Finishing, Projects, Process, Quality to deliver on plant
performance
 Work with HR to build a positive employee relations & industrial relations culture
Employee development and Management Responsibilities:
 Monitor and evaluate team members, and adjust training where needed to attract, retain and develop high
potential talent.
 Model and promote the Corporation’s Code of Business Ethics and Values.
 Act as a team role model and change-agent.
 Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals.
 Support developing organizational culture that fosters continuous improvement.

Qualifications

First class Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
 15 years of experience in Maintenance of Medium to large size plant including 2 - 3 years of experience of
independently managing maintenance function.
 Hands on knowledge on Maintenance, CBM, Problem Solving technics and improvement strategies (e.g.
ELS) and the ability to integrate those into the operation.
 Experience in Large Automation set up, High Speed Precision Machines, Utilities and continuous
manufacturing process would be
 Skilled in leading significant multi-functional project initiatives
 Demonstrated understanding of financial systems and the key drivers
 Demonstrated experience in leading and managing individuals and teams.
 Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
 Excellent teamwork, leadership, relationship building, mentoring, training and project management
experience and skills.
