Job Description

What we can offer you! - Your Role

As a Customer Product Development Generalist you play a key role in elevating our customers’ brands by leading the development of creative, innovative branding solutions for apparel and footwear brand owners and retailers. You will lead the product development process by defining new program requirements in collaboration with the sales teams, from point of initiation to customer approval. 

In this position you provide deep product expertise within our interior Heattransfers, Woven/Printed Fabric Labels and, Paper product lines by bringing insights, solutions, and options to the sales team and the customer.

Activities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • partner with colleagues as the product line expert within a territory, demonstrating comprehensive technical knowledge for the interior HTL, Woven/PFL, Paper product lines.
  • support the Commercial team on complex product opportunities to drive key initiatives and achieve sales objectives for assigned accounts.
  • effectively manage product development process from customer briefing to artwork development, costing/pricing, sampling, and final approval.
  • guide our customers to the greatest value solution for their branding needs by gathering product specifications for new programs, or redesigns of existing programs, and re-engineering options to meet target prices.
  • collaborate closely with product line management team on new product innovation pipeline.                                                           
  • coordinate with GPD team and variable data end-to-end specialists to deploy new items to production.
  • prepare global price proposals using established tools and guidelines and escalate price approval in competitive situations.participate in store audits, customer meetings and calls, creation of the selling narrative, and resolving product-related global deployment issues, as needed.

Qualifications

What we expect from you! - Your Expertise

  • You have a passion for products, trends, as well as for possibilities and development
  • You have  experience in new product development; knowledge of the retail, apparel or label industries can be an advantage
  • You have a technical knowledge of printing, weaving, heat transfer, variable data, and manufacturing strongly preferred.
  • You have the ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • You are able to handle a number of key tasks at the same time and prioritize your work on your own
  • You have an energetic, dedicated and enthusiastic work approach combined with strong self management to meet deadlines and to do what it takes to get the job done
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills in English both spoken and written;
  • Your have a strong cultural empathy and are a team-player with a relationship-building attitude to operate in a complex multinational organization
  • You have good PC skills (including use of Word, Excel, ERP, pricing tools, product/customer databases
