Job Description

● To support and assist in the closing process; to complete analysis, prepare journal entries and analyze information for accuracy and completeness; to input into the system.

● To do research and provide financial and business related analyses to assess the impact of various corporate projects and transactions.

● To conduct analyses and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital and investment.

● To support and assist in the annual operation planning process; to coordinate preparation of cost center budgets; to input data into planning systems.

● To provide financial analysis and support in the AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) process and the strategic plan.

● To prepare forecasts and analyze trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions and other related areas.

● For assigned projects, to prepare detail of work plan and schedule, complete detailed analysis and research, identify options, prepare reports for management and recommend action or change.

● To assist in preparing economic/financial research and analysis for use in the development of business strategies and tactics.

● Oversight of the monthly close process for the Norway site liaising closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate monthly closes and monthly flash reporting for site.

Qualifications

● A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or comparable education

● A minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial role

● Experience of working in industry

● Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

● Proficiently using computers and related software

● Fluency in English and Spanish is essential and a working knowledge of another European language an advantage

● Good business sense, strong analytical and problem solving skills

● Strong communication skills
