In this role you will drive the strategic road-map for partnership ecosystem for RFID and Digital solutions. You will focus on expanding Avery Dennison’s partnership scope and building relationships within the network of IT and IoT partners. 

You will have ownership to develop and deliver partnership models, marketing and product strategies that drive industry adoption and incremental revenue. There is a reactive component of the role that requires project evaluation for benefit to Avery Dennison and subsequent alignment with resources for execution where applicable. The proactive component is to explore additional ecosystem partners to determine if there is a need for partnerships ranging from tag provider through exploration by the Avery Dennison open innovation team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Develop and present the ecosystem road-map strategy with pipeline and resource considerations.

• Own, develop and manage your partnership portfolio.

• Partner with legal, innovation, M&A and other internal teams to build holistic view of partnership models and associated revenue opportunity.

• Drive business development for current products and solutions in new partnership markets 

• Know the market: capture and share market and competitor insights to evaluate the solution portfolio and call out any gaps or opportunities.

• Partner with market development to identify immediate and long term commercial opportunities.

• Drive entrepreneurial speed and flexibility with global consistency.

• Partner with cross divisional teams to evaluate new technologies.

• 7+ years of previous alliance/partnerships & strategy experience 
• Strong foundational knowledge of the IT and IoT ecosystem
• Proven success in product development, particularly as it pertains to new technology, content management, application infrastructure and the internet of things.
• Ability to understand customer objectives and translate complexity into solution requirements
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit with capability to lead and thrive in a cross functional organization.
• Demonstrable ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Critical thinking and ability to position Avery Dennison as to evangelize for Avery Dennison
• Must demonstrate leadership and influencing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills

Bachelor’s or Master's degree

LOCATION:

This role can be based in the UK, the Netherlands or Germany. We support also home office, as long as you are based in a well connected location (by plane, train etc.)
