The Plant Engineer is responsible for performing technical and project engineering duties to improve plant manufacturing performance, reduce costs, improve methods, and assist in machine maintenance and reliability. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Work closely with the Production, QA and Engineering teams in order to improve process performance towards achieving higher productivity, optimum equipment utilization and higher level of product quality.
• Analyze any process and product variations, identify root cause and solution for continuous improvement activity.
• Coordinate with the new product introduction team for samples testing and gate review.
• Set-up process capabilities and monitor performance.
• Generate, review and update process instruction, work procedure and documents.
• Conduct  training to enhance employees’ technical and process know-how.

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2~3 years experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience in web handling manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing will be an added advantage
• Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
