Job Description

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
 
This person will lead the HR function for the Operations group for RBIS, Bangladesh. The role will be accountable for delivering a full range of strategic and operational HR support to sustain the on-going organization and help drive business growth for the Operations organization of RBIS, Bangladesh. This position will be based mainly in Factory with frequent engagement in City Office.
 
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Developing and maintaining a positive employee workplace through effective employee relations and employee engagement efforts.
  • Ensuring effective and proactive people development and talent pipelining to meet the needs of Organization.
  • Acting as a guardian and advocate for key HR tools and processes such as performance management (GPS), talent review (LDR), C&B review (eComp) for the Operations functions of RBIS, Bangladesh
  • Having full accountability for the success of these strategies by advising and executing on key initiatives across the spectrum of recruiting, organizational development, training, compensation & benefits, employee relations for the Operations team.
  • Keep updated with relevant market data of Labor demand/supply to come up to prudent decisions. Well conversant in EPZ rules & regulations and will be the contact point for all BEPZA issues
  • Advises management in development and implementation of labor relations policies and practices, according to policy designed by the organization.
  • Managing dispute settlements according to labor law, Factory rules & Compliance guidelines.
  • Interpret and administer contracts with respect to grievances, wages and salaries, employee welfare, healthcare, union and management practices and other contractual stipulations.
  • Organize and supervise all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of an office including Security Services, Housekeeping Vendors and various other agencies / vendors.
  • Supervise, Monitoring and Evaluation of internal & External Audits (3rd party) Audits. Ensure and provide ethical trading program for the line managers and the workers. Provide various CoC training to the workers.  
     

Qualifications

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

  • MBA from a Premier institute with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as with an MNC.
  • Experience in developing and implementing the employee relations strategy for an operational set up.
  • Strong functional knowledge and working experience of Total Rewards, Learning and Development, Talent Management and Recruitment.
  • Ability to work at a strategic level at the same time manages but at the same time execute day to day HR Operations.
  • Ability to engage with and manage relationships with multiple stake holders in a matrix environment in a confident and professional manner. Strong collaborative skills would be a key success factor to this role. ills would be a key .
  • Excellent organizational and people skills, problem solving skills and influencing skills.
