Job Description

Full lifecycle systems development, including software and hardware.

·          Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.

·          Requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis

·          Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD)

·          Software and hardware modeling and simulation

·          Front end graphical user interface design

·          System testing and quality assurance

·          Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.

·          Support, maintain and document system functionality

·          Integrate software with existing systems

·          Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation

·          Project Planning and Project Management

·          Work with software, hardware contractors to develop solutions.

·          Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.

·          Present information and effectively communicate with divisions and cross-functionally.  Orally present findings to team and management.

·          Write project plans.  Determine timeline and resources for projects.  Work with internal and external parties to aid in successful project completion.

·          Drive growth, cost reduction, yield and product quality improvements, and capacity increases.

·          Maintain awareness of advances in technology and competitive intellectual property (patents).

·          Write technical reports and document research.  Summarize critical results and observations. Verify reliability of data.

·          Propose, design, prioritize, conduct and oversee multiple projects.

·          Lead and conduct problem solving efforts and propose resolutions.

Qualifications

·          Someone with a passion for programming and 5+ years of software/hardware development experience.
·          Strong math and analytical skills.
·          Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science or related field.
·          Understanding of RFID technology, sensors and microcontrollers required.
·          Programming experience is essential.
·          PLC programming and solidworks experience is a big plus.
·          Project management and operations experience is a big plus.
·          Experience of C firmware programming is a big plus.
·          Demonstrate working knowledge/experience in electronics field.
·          A background in electronics is highly desirable.
·          Strong organization and attention to detail.
·          Knowledgeable on process documentation and improvement.
·          Strong verbal and written skills.
·          Ability to work both individually and in a team.
·          International and domestic travel required 25-50%.
