Job Description
Work towards customer support to compliance related declaration or test reports on ROHS and phthalates by inputs from
Global Avery Experts/ from 3 rd party testing labs. Thus be in continuous dialogue with Global Compliance Team, Adhesive
SMEs, and Procurement teams.
Understand the portfolio and products, components and their impact on performance and cost.
Will also work in New Product developments, and thus follow product development process & project management discipline -
development and execution of target products
Analytical thinking, Problem Solving approach, and need good decision making skills.
Interface with Product Management to identify new technologies/gaps in the portfolio and develop new label
materials/constructions.
Ability to collate and summarize results and make conclusive presentations to management & stakeholders. Able to define a
way forward to the team.
Ensure agreed results, delivery and timelines for the projects or requests are met
Attend trade shows and conferences to keep abreast of industry and technical developments
Understand customer needs and requirements through regular interactions with business
Work across group and divisional boundaries to generate new ideas
Qualifications

Project management and business engagement skills. Keen interests in understanding and delivering business / customer
needs.
Technical expertise: Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineer, Packaging expert.
Problem solving and troubleshooting.

Creativity and the ability to collaborate and drive results across boundaries with speed.
Interpersonal skills, effective for working with people with different style and background, business focus with urgency.
2-3 years Industrial experience would be preferred
Ability to engage customers to learn their needs and desired solutions

Experience with laboratory practices
Scientifically smart and proactive
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Ability to work closely with marketing, sales and business colleagues
Strong oral and written communication skills
