Job Description
You will be responsible for planning and purchasing supply of intercompany items from ASEAN Plants to ANZ Distribution Centres (DC) to ensure customer promise & level of service is achieved and sustained.
● Responsible for all aspects of sales order planning & purchase order planning to replenish DCs.
● Purchase Order Management to shipments to ANZ and supply plants and receiving DCs/ Customer for on time delivery.
● Monitor and improve forecast accuracy performance from receiving side according to organization requirement.
● Control inventory at established level to comply with company policy for ANZ products at ASEAN plants and ANZ DCs.
● Process regular report for evaluation and measurement (such discrepancy shipment, plants delivery performance) and
● Involve daily MDI, NPI meeting for ANZ products, and monthly S&OP meeting to align with customer and organization requirements.
● Fine tune Planning work process for support ANZ customer.
● Identify opportunity of inventory optimization and cost saving initiatives.
● Understand & review overall Planning process among ASEAN plants & ANZ for improvement.
● Playing a key role in ASEAN – ANZ synchronized planning process.
● Being the contact person for overall shipments & requirements from ANZ to ASEAN plants.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related field
● 5 year experiences in areas of planning and buying experience within an importing business.
● Experience in handling Freight Forwarders is required.
● Good command of English and computer literacy.
● Self initiated and ability to work effectively and independent for meeting the deadline
● Good team player, service-minded and negotiation skills
● Good analytical skill and problem solving
● Flexible and self driving
● Inter personal with cross cultural skills
