Job Description

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

The individual will manage key aspects of the Supply Chain by creating and implementing various strategic initiatives aimed to improve flexibility, service levels, and profitability across RBIS. The main objective of this role is to manage the site logistic operations which includes but not limited to shipping, warehouse, EHS and production team responsibilities.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

● Interface with Commercial, Global Program Deployment, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations to formulate and drive supply planning strategies and tactics.

● Manage activities of those engaged in the movement of raw or finished materials, storage, production scheduling, and inventory control activities, including transportation, distribution, and logistics.

● Achieve maximum levels of productivity, ensuring that the business benefits from the lowest possible cost and best value.

● Partner with Commercial teams to identify and formulate strategic inventory programs.

 Review effectiveness of operating procedures, maintenance, space utilization, and protection of equipment.

 Be accountable for departmental budget and project deliverables.  

 Secure and allocate appropriate resources and manage project to meet Departmental goals and achieve financial objectives.  

● Lead cross-functional team on projects and work with all levels of stakeholders within the organization

● Monitor the cost, schedule and performance factors of major subcontractors and suppliers

● Coach and provide development opportunities for staff and nsure annual goals are completed and communicated.

Implement and integrate Company EHS programs and develops facility specific procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory and Company policies.



Qualifications

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

● 7-10 years of related experience in a sizable Supply Chain/logistics position.

● Management experience in a global firm with specific experience in Supply Chain.

● Experience leading large scale Supply Chain transformation in multinational and complex organizations

● Ability to work across functions and regions in a highly matrixed global organization.

● Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain Software Solutions and preferably experience in rollout out such systems.

● ERP system experience is preferred (e.g. Oracle, SAP, etc.).

● Solid analytical skills.

● Experience in leading change and strong persuasion skills.

● Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills are essential to lead and collaborate across a diverse and complex organization.


EDUCATION:


●Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related Technical field
