Job Description

The Quality and Documentation Specialist challenge in a few words:

The main tasks of the quality and documentation specialist are to prepare technical documentation (user manuals, equipment maintenance, certification and risk analyses) for our products, and to monitor the quality of our solutions.

Your contribution in this role:

  • Plan and perform incoming inspection of parts and participate to the final product control before shipment.
  • Create Supplier’s Non-Conformity Report and ensure the follow-up until satisfaction to the product or process expected quality requirements.
  • Generate quality reports on a weekly basis (Inspection, NCR)
  • Contribute to improve quality processes and procedures.
  • Work with mechanical designers, electrical and automation engineers, software developers and vision engineers to obtain an in-depth understanding of a project’s solution and the deliverable documents required.
  • Providing the customer with a released project’s technical documentation
  • With the support of the technical team, produce User manual, Maintenance manual, Software manual, Spare parts list or any other technical documentation needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate in a few words:

Diploma: DEC/AEC with specialization in electromechanics or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an electromechanical environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years in quality-related tasks.

Skills:

  • Ability to understand projects and systems and to highlight important points in relation to the requirements.
  • Able to use quality control inspection instruments with respect to electromechanical assembly.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical documentation (schematics, diagrams, drawings and manuals).
  • Ability to write technical documentation accurately and concisely.
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001-2015 quality environment or equivalent (an asset).

Computer skills: Knowledge of Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

Multilingual: Fluent in English and French written and spoken, any other language is an asset.
