The challenge of the Software Developer:

The candidate will fill the role of Software LabVIEW Developer and will be responsible for preparing new and optimizing existing test procedures based on customer specifications, creating drivers for control and measurement devices, participation in development of our Framework and integration of automated test systems.

The ideal candidate in a few words:

• Degree: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Experienced: Possess at least 3 years of full time experience as LabVIEW software developer
• Certification: CLA (Certified LabVIEW Developer) or equivalent
• Multilingual: Fluent Polish & English - written & spoken
• Mobility: you might have to travel, when required by our customer.

Requirements:

• Very good knowledge of LabVIEW programming language with proven examples of accomplished large scale projects,
• Strong knowledge of OOP (Object Oriented Programming) design patterns,
• Flawless usage of classes, libraries and interfaces,
• Commitment to create advanced architectural designs where modularity, high cohesion and low coupling are at the top of the list,
• Understanding of software architecture engineering and development,
• Experience with Real time, embedded and FPGA software systems is advantageous,
• Familiarity with software documentation, versioning, source control and release management and knowledge of tools to accomplish them,
• Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UDS and industrial like Profinet, Profibus, OPC UA.
• Knowledge of RESTful and Web service architectures will be recognized as an additional asset,
• Knowledge of NI-TestStand, Python and/or C# will be recognized as an additional asset,
• Knowledge of Vision systems, such as NI-Vision, Halcon, Cognex will be recognized as an additional asset,
• Knowledge of T-SQL, PL/SQL and relational databases will be recognized as an additional asset
• Knowledge in the integration of test platforms and industrial automation,
• Ability to read electrical schematics and to use common laboratory appliances like digital multimeters, scope or signal generators,
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to coach and supervise other LabVIEW developers,
• Interdepartmental collaboration with engineers from hardware, system and software disciplines.
