The challenge of the .NET Software Developer 

At Averna, we work with customers to strengthen test capabilities and ensure product quality through our unique expertise and innovation. Our renowned customers’ systems and products are always improving and adapting to technology, leaving our teams with many interesting challenges and projects to tackle. As a .NET Software Developer, your passion for software and expertise in open source and programing will be used to develop the next generation of technologies in test automation. 

Your contribution in this role: Dev Ops Data Engineer 

• Support and develop new features of a mature, yet always evolving distributed software suite   

• Gather, manipulate data to be imported into Proligent Analytics database. 

• Client facing data engineering role allowing for creative thinking to meet the various client’s data challenges also including data visualizations and machine learning / AI. 

• Monitor, investigate and diagnose software systems to document and prioritize actions to take using Microsoft Azure DevOps productivity tools.

• 4+ years of experience with focus on .NET and C# (Windows Environment)
• Backend development experience
• Knowledge and experience of SQL is a strong asset
• Strong problem solving skills
• Experienced in unit testing and source control/Git
• Other strong assets which will impact our decision include: Blazor, Distributed System Programing, PowerShell scripting, Dashboarding with Power BI or Tableau, and integration of ML algorithms
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Agile, adaptability to changing requirements
• Experience with electronics manufacturing process and tools (ie. MES, PLM) is an asset
