Corporate Financial Analyst  

The Corporate Financial Analyst Challenge in a few words:

We are looking for a Corporate Financial Analyst to join our Finance team who will report to the Controller. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the monthly consolidation of the Group, including the application of the transfer pricing strategy and the coordination of intercompany payments. The Corporate Financial Analyst will also participate in the preparation of financial information required for compliance purposes, the treasury function and the month-end process.  We are looking for a candidate with a strong interest in complex accounting and corporate responsibilities. This position will allow the candidate to be involved in a variety of subjects in a growing and challenging environment.

 

Your contribution in this role:

  • Perform monthly consolidation of parent and subsidiary results, including:
  • Reconciliation and elimination of interco transactions ;
  • Recording of inter-region recharges and consolidation entries;
  • Coordination with subsidiaries;
  • Coordinate payments of interco balances, and other treasury initiatives;
  • Implement the global transfer pricing strategy and participate in its documentation;
  • Coordinate the accounting of the Japanese entity;
  • Participate in the analysis of various ledger accounts;
  • Participate in the cash management function;
  • Participate in the Group's annual insurance renewal process;
  • Coordinate and participate in the preparation of annual audit files;
  • Support the Corporate Finance group in ad hoc initiatives ;

Qualifications

The ideal candidate in a few words:

  • Hold a professional accounting designation (CPA) or be in the process of obtaining one;
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience in a multi-national, multi-currency company;
  • Experience with consolidation;
  • Experience in meeting and adapting to new accounting and/or legal requirements;
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • Ability to adapt and grow in a changing business;
  • Ability to multi-task continuously;
  • Ability to work independently and enjoy problem solving;
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel ;
  • Experience with ERP, D365 an asset;
  • Bilingual - Fluent in English and French. Spanish is an asset.
