Job Description

The Automation Engineer challenge in a few words

As part of the Engineering team, you will be involved in the development and integration of automated tests systems for manufacturing and design validation systems of complex electronics products.

 

Your contribution in this role

  • You will work as an automation engineer on designing electrical cabinets, writing PLC software and integrating it into custom-built test systems
  • You will be involved in the design of complex test systems and production lines combining modern mechanical, electrical CAD and pneumatic technology;
  • You will participate in the drafting of project concept as well as detailed testing plan;
  • You will proceed to the analysis of functional test coverage;
  • You will also help develop a range of custom data acquisition systems to help our customers obtain accurate measurements and results;
  • You might be involved in the assembly process as a support

Qualifications

The ideal candidate in a few words

  • University degree – automation engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering or equivalent
  • Experienced: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in automation or electrical engineering
  • Experience with software electrical drawings such as SolidWorks Electrical or SEE-Electrical
  • Experience with PLC programming – Siemens, Beckhoff, Schneider, Omron
  • Knowledge of pneumatics – SMC, Festo
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing environment and industrial automation
  • Knowledge of machine safety requirements and ergonomics
  • Experience with Altium Designer or Protel.(asset)
  • Experience with robotics (asset)
  • Design and assembly of test fixture (asset)
  • Design and assembly of test benches (asset)
  • Knowledge of measurement devices and their capabilities, especially National Instruments (asset)
  • Multilingual: Good communication in Polish and English (written and spoken).
