Job Description
This role blends analytical skills with a strong understanding of digital content and marketing to create, plan, implement, and optimize content strategies that drive brand positioning and enrollment growth. Reporting directly to the Content Marketing Manager, this role is integral to supporting the Marketing team at the São Paulo campus, ensuring that all content aligns with Avenues’ mission and branding philosophies, with strong ownership over Avenues São Paulo’s digital content presence and a high standard of editorial judgment and strategic thinking.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for developing and managing implementation schedules and strategic actions to ensure timely and effective content delivery across channels (including social media, email campaigns, website, and blog articles) in alignment with overall marketing objectives.
Monitors, collects, and analyzes performance data (traffic, engagement, conversions, etc.) across channels to produce comprehensive reports with actionable insights and recommendations for content optimization and campaign improvements.
Creates, publishes, and manages written and visual content tailored to different audiences, in the form of website updates, blog articles, email marketing, social media posts/messages, campaigns etc, ensuring alignment with Avenues’ brand, tone, and marketing objectives.
Owns the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of digital content across platforms, ensuring high editorial standards and strategic alignment with enrollment and brand objectives.
Conducts competitive research and monitors public sentiment and digital trends to identify opportunities for differentiation, growth, and audience engagement.
Manages and maintains a content calendar to ensure timely, strategic, and consistent content delivery aligned with marketing initiatives and key admissions dates and events.
Supports multimedia content production, including video and photo shooting and editing, to deliver high-quality, impactful digital assets.
Monitors and manages the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries, fostering positive interactions and building an engaged digital audience.
Collaborates with external PR and marketing agencies to ensure alignment of our messaging, strategy, and goals.
Engages with faculty and academic teams to understand classroom experiences and learning practices, translating them into accurate, compelling, and authentic content narratives.
Collaborates closely with Admissions and Marketing to interpret content performance in relation to enrollment goals, supporting data-informed decisions across the admissions funnel.
Continuously monitors trends in content marketing, social media, and digital analytics, translating insights and performance data into strategic evolution of content formats, channels, and narratives.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both Portuguese and English.
- Strong editorial judgment and the ability to write, edit, and adapt high-quality content fluently in both English and Portuguese for different audiences and channels.
- Solid experience in a Marketing and Social Media role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred.
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
- Experience using CRM and analytics tools (such as HubSpot and Salesforce) to inform content strategy and performance optimization.
- Experience with Google Ads/Analytics, Meta, CRM, and SEO.
- Extreme attention to detail and organization with proven project management skills, from ideation to completion in a fast-growing, quick-moving environment, and the ability to prioritize.
- A desire to work as part of a highly collaborative and can-do team, a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach, and eager to roll up your sleeves and tackle challenges.
- A results-oriented, collaborative approach to project management.
- Experience in education is desirable but not required. A strong interest in school routines and innovative educational methodologies is essential.
