You should be able to drive the software change and release management processes, assisting with the overall maturity of the software development lifecycle. Ultimately, a top-notch senior software engineer will ensure that software deliverables comply with quality standards and are completed on time.

Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery and excellent software engineering skills. Creative engineering balanced with high quality and a customer focus. Must be able to work across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time. Strong analytic capability and the ability to create innovative solutions.

Responsibilities-

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
• Review and debug code.
• Perform validation and verification testing.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
• Document development phases and monitor systems.
• Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies.

Requirements and skills-

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development, at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude, Competitive programming is a big plus.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6), frameworks like Express, Nest, Next etc.
• Proficiency in php, frameworks like Laravel.
• Thorough understanding of React and its core principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• In-depth knowledge of database structure, SQL (MySQL), NoSQL, Postgres.
• Understand Containerisation, micro-service etc is a plus.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms.
• Test-driven development capability.
• Knowledge of TypeScript is a plus.
• Ability to lead a software development team.
• Great organizational and time management skills.

Workplace: Work at the office (Remote if situation demands)
Salary: 40k – 50k bdt.
