Job Description
As an Avant “AMP”, you will become an expert in every part of the business by spending 12-15 weeks as a member of our Product Management, Finance, Operations, and Marketing teams. You’ll have the opportunity to take on significant responsibility immediately, launching new technologies, analyzing data to improve AvantCredit’s product offering to customers, and creating a direct impact on the company’s profitability.
You will work with and have exposure to the company’s senior leadership, because the goal of this program is to develop young, talented individuals into the future leaders of the company. As a result, we are looking for entrepreneurial, self-driven candidates who are excited by the thought of helping to build a company from the ground up. As an AMP, you will become comfortable managing multiple high priority, high value projects at the same time. After a period of proven performance, you will begin to manage individuals and eventually entire teams at AvantCredit in order to set you up for long-term success at the company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, finance or other from a top tier school
- Required 2+ years’ experience with process improvement, management consulting, and/or data analytics
- Track record of driving new projects, balancing business needs vs technical and time constraints, as well as coordinating across cross-functional teams
- Strong SQL knowledge or advanced VBA required
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience working within start-up environments preferred
