Job Description
We are seeking a talented and innovative Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune, India. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions that drive our company's success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement complex software systems
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and industry standards
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software applications for performance and scalability
- Contribute to the development of software architecture and technical specifications
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure software quality through rigorous testing and adherence to coding standards
- Document technical designs, processes, and solutions for future reference
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on object-oriented programming
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to a positive team culture
- Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and staying current with industry trends
