Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Kubernetes Engineer to
join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes,
particularly in managing both on-premises and cloud environments.
You will be working extensively with OpenShift and Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE),
leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform to ensure efficient and scalable deployment processes.

Your key tasks 

  • Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters on both on-premises and cloud environments (OpenShift and OKE).
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using Terraform for provisioning and managing Kubernetes resources.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Implement security best practices for Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes.

Qualifications

  • Computer science degree or successfully completed training in the IT field or comparable professional experience.
  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes, specifically with OpenShift and Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) (at least 5 years of experience).
  • Proficiency in Terraform and experience in developing and maintaining complex IaC.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Github, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Good understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in Kubernetes environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.

It would be a real bonus if you have 

  • Experience with other cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Certifications in Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD) and/or Terraform.
