Job Description

Your key tasks

  • Subject Matter Expert - you will be part of the Diverse Services team which work closely with the Service Desk team and other IT Services team acting as a L2/L3 escalation point. You will be supporting our end-users and stakeholders also via various channels (phone, email, tickets, and remote/on-site support) using advanced incident analysis and resolution techniques.
  • Proactive – Problem solver, creating, monitoring, maintaining, implementing changes, and improving various IT processes and services that is being handled within the Diverse Services team. Takes the initiative to push forward the progress of the tickets or projects that are assigned to you.
  • Courageous - Quick to adapt in a fast-paced working environment and be flexible enough to handle new tasks beyond your comfort zone.
  • Document master - Document systems, processes, and procedures you have responsibility and keeping them up to date.
  • Task Finisher - Complete tasks and/or projects on time and within budget. Structured and goal-oriented method of working.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Solid technical knowledge and long practical experience in Software Packaging
  • Experience in Orca, Pace Suite, Wise Admin Studio, Adobe Cloud Packager, Office Customization tools
  • Experience in managing SCCM system for software distribution and Windows OS patch management for client and server machines
  • Experience in creating SCCM /Intune packages for deployment
  • Experience in creating and managing SCCM task sequence
  • Experience in using SCCM log tools for deployment analysis and investigation
  • Experience in common MacOS packages: Pkg, dmg, rpm, PLST files
  • Solid Power Shell scripting knowledge (independent from Software Packaging)
  • Experience with PSAppDeployToolkit
  • Proficiency in creating installation documentation/system documentation
  • Advanced scripting and automation tools know-how is a must (PowerShell, VBS., etc.)
  • Experience in handling and implementing change tickets
  • Structured and goal-oriented method of working
  • Takes the initiative to push forward the progress of the tickets or projects that are assigned to you

Skills

  • Software Requirements engineering
  • Deep skills about Windows Registry (HKLM and HKCU)
  • Skills about EXE installer (InstallShield), MSI, MST, MSI Active Setup, MSIX, MSI properties
  • Knowledge with MSIEXEC installation switches
  • Knowledge with Windows ACL and MacOS ACL
  • Knowledge with Windows Environment Variables
  • Knowledgeable in Software Lifecycle Management
  • Deep skill and knowledge on MSI/MST/MSIX automatization & repackaging, setup automatization with batch or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems (Client and Server) and MacOS
  • Windows Software Package Troubleshooting
  • Knowledgeable with different software distribution systems (SCCM and Intune)
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Active Directory Service and Group Policy
  • Deep knowledge of Windows Registry
  • Knowledge of app configuration and protection
  • Understanding of device security best practices

It would be a real bonus if you have:

  • Understands the ITIL framework and holds any IT certification related to M365/Azure, SCCM, vSphere or Windows Server Administration
  • Knowledge and experience in Citrix environment
  • Experience in handling software vulnerability management topics
  • Experience with Atlassian tools Jira and Confluence
  • Experience in JAMF
  • Experience in managing Windows virtual environment via vSphere/VMware technologies or Azure running on Windows Servers 2016, 2019 and 2022
  • Knowledge and experience in supporting various Microsoft Server technologies (e.g. Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Fileserver, etc.)
  • Experience in managing/administering Microsoft 365/Azure and Cloud computing technologies. 
  • Experience in creating automation or tasks by using shell commands, shell scripts and cloud CLI tools
