Captive Finance at AUTO1 is part of our Group Treasury, alongside Investor Relations, Cash Management and Corporate Finance.

 AUTO1 is developing Autohero into Europe’s leading online retailer for used cars. As part of our retail offering we are also offering car finance to our customers. Your role will be to help us ensure that we grow our financing business in a profitable and sustainable manner.

Your new role

• You will get in depth knowledge how asset backed securitisations works by spending approximately half your time with the daily and monthly reporting and operation of our asset backed securitisations as well as preparing for future credit rating agency processes
• Your other focus will be developing our wider treasury and captive finance reporting and forecasting capabilities:
• General liquidity via our Treasury Management System
• Credit performance and profitability of our captive finance loan portfolio and future financing products
• Risk exposure and profitability of our FX and Interest Rate hedging strategy

Your skills

• Bachelor degree from a top-tier university in business, finance, economics or equivalent bank training
• Relevant internships or work experience in financial services and start-ups, as well as strong interests in finance and credits 
• Strong results/goal orientation, a willingness to evolve and problem solve, a passion to "make things happen"
• Excellent proficiency in Excel, VBA, SQL and Python are a plus 
• Ability to fluently communicate verbally and written in English, German is a plus
