Job Description

As a Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst at Authenticx, you will:

  • Identify, triage, and document quality issues before the code is released to customers
  • Conduct manual and automated software tests for new features
  • Diagnose issues, report defects, and propose A/B tests to discover reoccurrences
  • Provide updates to the team on quality issues, ensuring that everyone is aligned
  • Collaborate with software engineers to gain a better understanding of the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
  • Successfully handle multiple, concurrent testing projects
  • Maintain a proactive approach to learning, utilizing new technologies and proposing ideas and improvements to products and process

Qualifications

Our ideal Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will possess the following qualifications:

Standard:  

  • 2+ years of software application quality assurance (QA) and testing experience
  • Ability to design and develop automated test scripts for business and technical use cases
  • Ability to propose, develop, and implement novel testing techniques or technologies
  • Must have an inquisitive mind that is driven to find software and usability flaws   
  • Self-motivated with great time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and technical writing capabilities

Preferred:  

  • Experience with issue-tracking tools (ex. JIRA) 
  • Experience with software QA automation and load testing tools (ex. Cypress, Reflect)
  • Healthcare or Call Center experience
  • 2+ years of experience in testing software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms

Additional Information

  • For local candidates, this is may be a hybrid position consisting of mostly remote/virtual working with occasional on-site (Indianapolis northside) activities approximately 1-2x per week (this is flexible).
  • For non-local candidates, this will primarily be a virtual position with rare on-site travel approximately 2-4x per year to Indianapolis, depending on business needs and location. 
  • Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the USA without requiring employment visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
