As a Frontend React Software Engineer, you will be a member of our high-performing Product Innovation team, and you will: 

• Specialize in building responsive and thoughtfully designed UIs with React, Typescript, and supporting technologies 
• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle: estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of our product 
• Build a modern web services architecture to integrate with various internal and external services and APIs 
• Work in a team environment with solution architects and developers to translate wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements, technical designs, and a build releasable product 
• Employ strong coding standards for efficiency, readability, and reuse

Our ideal Frontend React Software Engineer will possess the following qualifications: 

You love to collaborate with other technical and non-technical team members to create an outstanding user experience. You are skilled in using modern design tools, wireframes, storyboards, journey maps, prototypes, flow diagrams, etc. You have an amazing ability to satisfy user needs, while maintaining brand guidelines, technical constraints, and aligning with short-term and long-term business goals.

Qualifications:

• College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a similar field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining web applications with React, JavaScript and CSS 
• Experience developing software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions.
• Experience with Typescript, Material UI JSS, MobX, Google Charts, CSS Grid Layout & Flexbox 
• Extensive knowledge of web standards and modern browsers, responsive design, and of the full web technology stack 
• Experience with REST/JSON APIs 
• Experience with Git and CICD tools 
• Experience consuming micro-services  

• For local candidates, this is a hybrid position consisting of mostly remote/virtual working with on-site (Indianapolis northside) activities approximately 1-2x per week.
• For non-local candidates, this will primarily be a virtual/remote position with occasional on-site travel (2-4x per year), depending on location. 
• Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the USA without requiring employment visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
