Job Description
Full responsibility of Leadership and People Development :
▪ Implement and maintain a network within the Category and the other Categories within the Cluster organization to share competence and best practices
▪ Coach and develop the team and employee
▪ Actively support the team and employees in case of problems
▪ Control the target achievement for the Category
▪ Representing entire Global Category for China and align with global category manager
Full responsibility of Achieve best market conditions:
▪ Actively influence the sourcing process through: ▪ Supplier selection ▪ Negotiation of prices and closure of contracts ▪ Sourcing decision
▪ Provide whole China demand of the global category and align with global category management the impact and executive on the platform sourcings
Full responsibility of Negotiation:
▪ Drive annual negotiations to constantly improve the cost situation of AUMOVIO in case of escalation
▪ Negotiate with suppliers and represent AUMOVIO in front of the supplier's management
▪ Apply negotiation concepts (like Advanced negotiation concept) to actively support & execute bundling within the respective Category
▪ Negotiate non conformance cost with suppliers
Full responsibility of Contract Management:
▪ Ensure fulfillment of all necessary requirements by negotiating and concluding legally binding contracts with the respective suppliers
Full responsibility of Data maintenance :
▪ Ensure in time implementation of correct data in the respective IT-systems
▪ Responsibility for monthly controlling and correction of local data and target achievement
Shared response of Material and Supplier strategy:
▪ Develop a material and supplier strategy: ▪ Conduct market analysis ▪ Drive the strategy definition process with cross-functional partners ▪ Ensure that AUMOVIO requirements are reflected in the strategy ▪ Define and develop supplier portfolio for China in align with the global category
▪ Document and implement the strategy in all BAs and ensure sourcing execution ▪ Support GCM with BASE evaluation and creation of the strategic SCF
Support to Continous Cost reduction:
▪ Support re-design in cost reduction programs
▪ Drive improvement programs with suppliers
Qualifications
Required experience:
-Several years of experience in different purchasing functions;
-Experience in leadership position;
-Capability to negotiate and operate with different cultures;
-Experience in working with international teams on Purchasing issues;
-Understanding for different foreign cultures (NAFTA/ Asia, several European cultures);
Required knowledge:
Expert level:
-Management skills, tools and techniques which ensures a strategic, profit and resulted oriented handling (Balanced Scorecard, Benchmarking, etc.);
-Human relations skills (team skills, conflict management, open-mindedness, networking);
-Communication skills, including Presentation and Negotiation techniques to operate in different cultures;
-Procurement Process and Product Life Cycle (PLC) knowledge;
-Technical understanding of specific components;
-Commercial knowledge, includes contract law etc.;
Advanced level:
-Problem solving and decision making tools and techniques;
-Project management skills, tools and techniques;
-Purchasing Management (including standards of Quality system requirements, policies and norms (IATF 19649/ VDA 6.1);
-Risk Management
