Job Description

We are looking for a driven sustainability professional to join AUMOVIO’s Sustainability Governance team in Porto, Portugal, as Manager Sustainability Risk Assessment.

In this position, you will play a central role in advancing AUMOVIO’s sustainability strategy by leading the assessment of Impacts, Risks, and Opportunities (IROs) in line with the CSRD. You will lead double materiality and climate risk assessments, shaping a prioritized, value‑chain–wide view of AUMOVIO’s key sustainability impacts, risks, and opportunities. By ensuring the continuous monitoring, refinement, and integration of these assessments into governance and decision‑making, you will make a lasting contribution to the development of AUMOVIO’s sustainability focus areas and long‑term resilience.

Your tasks will also include the following activities:

  • Drive continuous improvement of a global impact, risk and opportunity (IRO) management across AUMOVIO and AUMOVIO´s value chain for sustainability related IRO
  • Manage and provide the formal materiality assessment according to ESRS for year-end reporting
  • Conduct regular sustainability IRO assessments, evaluating potential effects on financial performance, reputation, and long-term viability
  • Define, develop and implement the IRO framework, methods, tool set and IT solutions cross-functionally in line with the Group risk & compliance management system
  • Monitor emerging sustainability trends, regulatory developments, and best practices to proactively address evolving impacts, risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate with various risk leads and cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability IRO considerations into risk management types, strategy, operations, product development, and investment decisions
  • Manage the sustainability-related strategic IROs  and review and evaluate reported IROs on a regular basis as well as initiate and steer mitigation measures for identified negative impacts and risks
  • Foster realization of opportunities and positive impacts across the organization
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders, highlighting key sustainability IRO insights and recommendations
  • Engage with external partners, industry associations, and subject-matter experts to stay informed on market developments and to exchange knowledge
  • Actively contribute to the successful implementation of AUMOVIO's sustainability focus areas

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in business/economics, sustainability, accounting or a related field required, along with relevant experience in risk management, governance, or compliance
  • Several years experience in risk management, sustainability risk, ESG, strategy or related roles, preferably experiences with Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
  • Strong understanding of sustainability trends, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Several years of experience in structured problem solving, continuous improvement and project management as well as analytical competence
  • Advanced analytical skills, extensive knowledge of risk management, governance, and compliance principles
  • Proficiency English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Excellent communication, moderation and presentation skills
  • Very structured workstyle by using relevant tools and methods
  • Experiences in working in international teams and intercultural competence
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability to area of responsibility

Salary range (gross): 39 000 € – 52 000 € per year (base salary), depending on experience, skills and qualifications.

Additional compensation/benefits: performance based bonus.
