Job Description
As a member of the AUMOVIO Compliance & Security team, the Compliance Officer EMEA will support the effective operation of the Compliance Management System in the Compliance core areas (Business Ethics, Anti-Money Laundering, Antitrust and Privacy & AI Compliance), providing guidance and operational compliance support to local business units, while closely collaborating with global functions.
The position is based in Timisoara and on site.
Main responsibilities are:
Provide advice within the compliance core areas
Give practical guidance on regulatory developments affecting business operations in regional context.
Act as contact point, provide operational support and advise managers and staff of the companies in scope on compliance and data practices internally and in connection with risk situations
Conduct in-person and virtual training for various groups of employees
Support communication and awareness of compliance topics across the organization.
Monitor legal and regulatory updates across EMEA and other regions.
Identify and assess potential areas of compliance risk.
Work with Business Management to avoid compliance failures and keep leaders informed about relevant changes.
Support implementation and localization of AUMOVIO’s Compliance Management System in EMEA
Ensure consistency of compliance measures across countries and adapt to local requirements.
Qualifications
Academic Degree in Business Administration, Law or comparable education;
At least 5 years of proven professional experience (mandatory);
Professional experience in the field of Compliance in an international context;
Expertise in relevant local anti-corruption and data protection laws (mandatory);
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
Additional language skills preferred;
Strong team player mentality and Intercultural competence.
