• Development of the SW architecture of Data2Production Systems
• Strategy development for the medium and long-term development of the systems in coordination with customers (plants, R&D), management (team and department management)
• Create architectural concepts and software specifications for applications in the production environment for customers worldwide
• Take on independent software development for new and existing applications in the area of Microsoft .NET (C#)
• Familiarize with modern technologies and concepts and apply them in agile development projects
• Responsibility in 3rd level support for questions and problems
• Manage and create script-based images for industrial PCs and servers
• Install, configure and commission the MES for the production systems of the Active Safety and Motion Control business unit worldwide
• Documenting code and results
• Technical definition of work packages for external SW development service providers as well as management of effort estimates
• Consideration of internal (CAxxx) and external standards (CyberSec in Production ISO21434, UN ECE R155, ...)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree majored in Computer Science with at least 5 years of experience as a developer or 3 years as an architect

Professional Experience & skills 

• Experience as a software developer in development projects including DevOps
• Many years of experience in the automotive supply industry, ideally with a focus on "production-related SW"
• Familiar with the .NET universe, especially with C#, with Entity Framework, Web API, WCF, Windows Forms, Access/Oracle/SQL Google Blockly, Blazor / Angular and NuGet packet management
• Knowledge of PowerShell
• English: business fluent, German (desirable)
• Willing to learn new technologies and programming languages
• Ability to work in a worldwide team and motivated to create the best solutions
• The willingness to travel for project-related purposes
• Advanced knowledge of the administration and management of Windows systems client and server
• Interest in effort estimates and feasibility studies (PoCs)
