The PVSM Development Assignment is a 12 month experience at Plant New Braunfels, offering a unique chance to step into a high-visibility leadership role within AUMOVIO’s cutting-edge radar operations. You’ll lead the charge in optimizing our 24/7 manufacturing value stream, influencing business results, and championing continuous improvement. • Own the Value Stream: Coordinate production cells, costs, quality, and delivery to meet KPIs.

• Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement lean strategies, lead Kaizen events, and foster a culture of operational excellence.

• Lead & Inspire: Coach teams across all shifts (yes, even nights!) and advocate for safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Collaborate Globally: Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure short- and mid-term product demand is met.

• Shape the Future: Support TPM coordination and develop plant lean strategy aligned with strategic goals.

THE ENVIRONMENT

• 24/7 radar manufacturing operation with coaching and engagement expected across all shifts.

• Safety First: PPE compliance required in designated areas (company‑provided ESD safety‑toed shoes, smock, and other PPE as needed).

• Active ESD‑protected production floor with pedestrian and forklift traffic and periodic noise; strict adherence to safety procedures and guidelines is mandatory.

• Role includes time on the production floor and in office settings; ability to sit or stand for 8+ hours and operate standard office equipment is required.

ABOUT DEVELOPMENT ASSIGNMENT

Duration of Assignment: The PVSM Development Assignment is a 12‑month experience. Participant will work for the operations department while fully dedicating their work responsibilities to the PVSM role for the duration of the assignment.

During the Assignment: Throughout the assignment, participants will receive regular check‑ins, developmental feedback, and support to ensure a meaningful learning experience and smooth transition at the end of the program.

Conclusion of Assignment: At the conclusion of the 12‑month period, participant will either:

  • Return to most recent role held prior to Development Assignment, OR
  • Apply for a new role based on business needs, performance during the assignment, and available opportunities.

Pay Transparency: Base pay and salary grade generally remains unchanged during the assignment. The purpose of the development role is to accelerate skills, visibility, and leadership experience—not immediate compensation changes. Pursuing this assignment can position you strongly for future advancement. If you choose to apply for and are selected for a Production Value Stream Manager role in the future, compensation will be reassessed based on role scope and internal guidelines, offering potential for increased earnings.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar field OR 6+ years in manufacturing.

• Must be a current AUMOVIO New Braunfels, Texas employee Salary Grade 10 or 11.

• 3+ years in a manufacturing leadership role.

• Generally employed within current role for a minimum of 18 months.

• Meet the minimum qualifications of the role.

• Have a current performance rating of performing or above.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Proven experience in supervising employees in a manufacturing setting.

• Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement culture.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
