Job Description
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Product Manager is responsible for managing the Aftermarket product Line and programs, including any existing or new product or line extensions developed or sourced. The Product Manager will develop and manage any/all existing and future product category. The Product Manager is responsible for as below.
- Manage product life cycle (PLC), SAP setup (MLS) & PM process map
 - Launch new & expand program or product line (SKUs)
 - Product category margin and growth strategy
 - Support business cases for new products
 - Coordinate supplier RFQs with purchasing
 - Support technical product release process
 - Conduct competitive benchmarking, & application research supported by catalog team
 - Product photography, attribute, and applications (input LSDB)
 - Support forecasting and target costing or pricing
 - Continuous product improvement
 - Product validation & FPIs
 - Support customer RFQs / product line review or presentations
 - Collaborate with cross functional team for product line management
 - Support marketing to develop and implement Promotion(s) of existing and new products
 
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- BS/BA, Business (Marketing, Business Mgmt.) or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
 - Minimum 2 years of Product Management, Product Development, or Project management experience
 - General Understanding of Automotive Aftermarket and/or Aumovio Internal Process
 - Flexibility to support 10% Domestic/International Travel
