Job Description
The IT Coordinator will deliver end-user technical support and oversee IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operation of IT systems across all U.S. locations. Key responsibilities include managing the ticketing system, overseeing asset management, coordinating with vendors, and monitoring critical IT issues. You will serve as the primary liaison between the local market and the subsidiary’s IT team, as well as the IT Digital departments in Switzerland.
Additionally, you may contribute to IT strategy development, cybersecurity initiatives, and transformation projects. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide L2 technical support to end users, including on-site troubleshooting and proactive issue resolution.
- Work with the IT Digital department to manage IT systems and contribute to organizational projects.
- Monitor IT systems to identify and escalate potential issues to technical teams.
- Support key business users with process improvement initiatives.
- Provide IT support for company events, such as exhibitions and VIP dinners.
- Participate in IT-related projects from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals, deadlines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish support models, standards, and IT Service Management (ITSM) practices.
- Maintain IT procurement, asset management, and hardware lifecycle.
- Support vendor selection by reviewing proposals and participating in evaluations.
- Maintain vendor contracts and enforce compliance with terms, including SLAs and penalties.
- Promote cybersecurity awareness among users, external vendors, and partners.
- Assist in assessing the current IT service performance and implementing improvements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive IT and site documentation.
- Improve IT processes, including process writing and knowledge base updates within the ITSM system.
- Maintain project documentation for all assigned projects.
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT project management.
- Self-driven with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-centric organization.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to business needs.
- Strong relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively across teams and regions.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
- ITILv4 Certified.
- Familiar with HP, Apple, Cisco and FortiGate hardware
- Proven experience in IT support, asset management, and vendor coordination.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools and processes.
- Willingness to travel as required.
