Resident Services Coordinator – FT Management Role

If so, Auburn Homes and Services has a career awaiting you! We are currently seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to come and join our Chaska campus team. This position is a full-time, exempt management role. The schedule is 8-4:30pm and 10-6:30pm alternating days;

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with passion and commitment towards providing the best services to our residents. The primary purpose of the Resident Services Coordinator is to supervise the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping, Culinary and Cafe Departments in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility.
- Must be able to proficiently read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Must be able to proficiently operate a computer, electronic schedule and utilize company required technology.
- Must be knowledgeable of housekeeping, infection control, culinary & cafe practices and procedures in the assisted living facility.
- Must possess leadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
- Must have the ability to plan organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc., of the housekeeping, culinary and cafe department.
- Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of housekeeping areas; must perform regular inspections of resident rooms/units for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties.
- Must ensure clean resident dining areas, food supplied, and tracking refrigerator temperatures
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.
- Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing housekeeping practices.
- Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
- Must be flexible to coordinate schedule throughout multiple shifts, including a possible weekend or holiday when staffing challenges occur.
- Must obtain a licensed assisted living director (LALD) license

- Must be able to pass a background study administered by the State of Minnesota.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Minnesota Certified Food Protection Manager Certification.
- Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job.
- Demonstrated competencies in person-directed, elder/resident-directed practice, critical thinking, teamwork, self-leadership, communication and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Demonstrated compatibility with AH&S's mission and operating philosophies.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
- Satisfactory completion of facility orientation and specialized program orientation
