If so, Auburn Homes and Services has a career awaiting you! We are currently seeking a Trained Medication Aide to come and join our Chaska campus team. Current availability includes full-time evening hours from 3pm-9:30pm, totaling 60 hours every two weeks.

$18.75-$21.50/hour & $1,000 Sign-On Bonus!

We are looking for someone with passion and commitment towards providing the best services to our residents. The primary purpose of the Trained Medication Aide is to provide each of the residents with routine daily nursing care, services, and medication administration in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

1. Maintain an environment that achieves high quality care (physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual) of residents and maintain their independence and dignity to the highest degree possible within the AHS continuum. 

2. Maintain effective communication systems with all customers.

3. Administer medications and treatments and provide individualized, direct care to residents based upon regulations and established clinical best practices.

4. Maintain all required documentation in accordance with regulations and established clinical best practices.

5. Assistant Nursing Assistants in the provision of care.

Qualifications

1. Successful completion of a state approved training program and current certification in medication administration in state(s) in which he/she practices.

2. Successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training program and current certification in state(s) in which he/she practices.

3. Demonstrated compatibility with AHS's mission and operating philosophies.

4. Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
