Job Description
To ensure all staff, students and visitors are provided with a physical learning environment that is safe, secure, clean, and friendly.
SALARY: $13.00-$19.25/hour (wage determined by years of relevant experience)
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 8 hours/day, 12 months/year (benefits eligible)
REPORTS TO: Operations Support Coordinator and/or Director of Operations
Qualifications
· High school graduate, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, required skills, and abilities.
· Good knowledge of maintenance methods, materials and equipment as they pertain to the custodial functions, and ability to use them economically and efficiently.
· Knowledge of the safety hazards of the work place and a safety conscious mindset.
· Extensive custodial experience, some of which shall have been at the level of the position.
· Some experience as a semi-skilled handyman.
· Ability to plan and supervise the work of others.
· Such alternatives to the above qualifications as are determined to be appropriate and acceptable.
